Iran, Azerbaijan discuss economic relations
(MENAFN) According to IRNA, Iranian Ambassador to Baku Abbas Mousavi and Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev spoke of improving economic relations between the two countries.
The two sides underlined the close cultural, historical and religious relations between the two countries and underlined the willingness of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Iran to develop their mutual relations.
Aliyev highlighted the improvement of collaboration between his country and the Islamic Republic of Iran in several economic fields in recent years and highlighted the increase in the number of Iranian companies operating in Azerbaijan, in addition to the increase bilateral investments and the implementation of joint agreements. economic projects as signs of further enlargement.
Aliyev further stated that “there are good opportunities for Iranian companies to participate in the reconstruction of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and to cooperate in the fields of transport, energy and establishment of public infrastructure in these areas ”.
