Italy hosts Iranian art exhibition in Verona
The Cultural Counselor of the Iranian Embassy in Italy, the representative of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication, the Italian-Iranian Center for Cultural and Economic Cooperation and the Municipality of the City of Verona cooperated to organize the event.
The opening ceremony of the Iran Milleeun Colore exhibition was held on March 21.
The mayor of the city of Verona, director of a historical center of the city, consul general of Iran in Milan, former president of the Niavaran Cultural House of Tehran as well as adviser of the Touring & Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran participated in the inaugural ceremony.
The organizers prepared traditional Iranian music and an Iranian-style banquet as part of the opening ceremony.
An Iranian Artwork Review Panel was organized to talk about the works exhibited at this event, which was attended by officials from the city of Verona as well as Iranian guests.
Along with the Persian New Year, Sunday, March 20, 2022, a celebration was held in the presence of the former president of the Niavaran Cultural House of Tehran as well as the adviser of the Touring & Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Iranian Art Exhibition was open to the public and ended on Tuesday, March 23.
The exhibition featured around 100 works of art, including paintings, calligraphy, wood art and ceramics.
